Revelytix Names Robert Levy to Board of Directors

SPARKS, Md., Sept. 11, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Robert Levy has been named to the Board of Directors of Revelytix, provider of the world's leading Hadoop metadata management capability.

Most recently, Levy served as the Executive Vice President and Chief Technology Officer of BEA Systems and, before that, as the Executive Vice President of New Products Strategy, responsible for all aspects of BEA's AquaLogic product lines, including research and development, product management and support.

Prior to BEA, Levy served as the Senior Vice President and Chief Technology Strategist at Computer Associates (CA), where he led CA's Center for Technology Strategy and was responsible for CA's technology vision and strategy.  Previously at CA, Mr. Levy was Senior Vice President of development and Brand Executive for CA's CleverPath and AllFusion brands.  In that role he was responsible for CA's portal, business intelligence and application lifecycle management product lines.
