NEWTOWN SQUARE, Pa., May 1, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- SAP SE (NYSE: SAP) today announced that REV Group (NYSE: REVG) has selected SAP S/4HANA® to integrate the disparate legacy systems it inherited from acquisitions and pave the way for more rapid growth across the organization. The real-time intelligence of SAP S/4HANA will help REV Group, maker of recreational and emergency vehicles, manage all aspects of the company's operations, from material sourcing to customer service.
Recognizing the need for a central repository of information across its 29 brands of recreational vehicles, industrial and commercial vehicles, fire trucks, ambulances and buses, REV Group will employ SAP S/4HANA to import transactional-level data from both SAP® and non-SAP software in real time for complete financial visibility.
"We're experiencing rapid growth at REV Group, often assessing multiple acquisitions at any given time," REV Group CEO Tim Sullivan said. "With SAP, we are bringing process excellence to our organization that enables us to not only efficiently merge those acquisitions into our organization but to drive efficiencies, view our business in real time and accelerate growth across the enterprise."
DJ Paoni, managing director, Midwest, SAP North America, said: "As organizations expand, stabilizing current operations and recognizing synergies and redundancies across systems as quickly as possible is key to preparing a company for continued growth and success. With SAP S/4HANA, we provide a simplified, transformative solution, which empowers companies like REV Group to accelerate its expansion by mitigating current complexities in its IT environment and enabling a truly live business."
Standardization to Enable Rapid Growth
REV Group wanted to get rid of its disparate and highly-customized systems. With SAP S/4HANA, REV Group is able to redefine and standardize its core business across the organization with incredible speed. This speed, coupled with the company's ability to improve forecast accuracy through SAP S/4HANA means that REV Group can realize a shorter return on investment in its acquisitions.
Unified System to Drive Measurable Results
REV Group is adopting a full deployment of SAP S/4HANA – including the SAP S/4HANA Finance solution, the SAP S/4HANA Automotive solution, the SAP Fiori® user experience, the SAP Enable Now solution, SAP Data Services software and SAP Solution Manager – across all its core business functions. With SAP S/4HANA as the digital core of REV Group's operations, data from across the company's diverse set of brands can be consolidated onto a single platform. This will enable REV Group to gain full visibility, connect all the company's processes and benefit from insights that help leaders make informed business decisions.
