Restaurants' Recovery From Recession Historically Slow Says Kurt Salmon

SAN FRANCISCO, Aug. 26 /PRNewswire/ -- The restaurant sector’s recovery from the most recent U.S. recession has been significantly slower compared to that of previous recessions, according to Kurt Salmon, global consulting firm. “More than two years after the start of the Great Recession, consumer spending at restaurants is 10% less than an average of the nation’s four prior recessions for the same recovery period,” Kurt Salmon’s Todd Hooper said.
