PORTLAND, Ore., Aug. 8, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Respect Your Universe, Inc., (TSX VENTURE: RYU) (OTCQB: RYUN) (RYU) is pleased to announce strong retail sales for July at its store located in The Shoppes at the Palazzo, Las Vegas. Retail sales for July 2013 were $49,522, as compared to $33,500 in June 2013, which represented a 45% increase in sales.

"We believe that retail sales at our Las Vegas store are trend positive due, in large part, to our testing of a new promotional pricing strategy, which represented increased value to customers", noted Chief Executive Officer, Craig Brod, PhD.
