Research Electro-Optics, Inc. Wins Colorado Photonics Company of the Year
BOULDER, Colo., Nov. 16, 2010 /PRNewswire/ -- The Colorado Photonics Industry Association (CPIA) has named Research Electro-Optics, Inc. (REO) as the 2010 Colorado Photonics Company of the Year. The award will be presented to Terry Moshier, REO Chairman, CEO and President, at the CPIA Annual Meeting on Wednesday, November 17, 2010. This meeting will be held on the University of Colorado campus in Boulder (UMC 235) from 3-6 p.m. and is open to the public.
The CPIA bestows the Photonics Company of the Year award to the company or institution that it feels has contributed the most to the Colorado photonics industry over the preceding year. This 2010 winner, REO, is a precision optics and thin film coating company, founded here in Colorado in 1980. REO was selected from more than 240 companies in the aerospace, renewable energy, defense, security, medical and life sciences, biotech, telecommunications, and electronics industries, which are involved in photonics, or light-based, technologies.
