MIAMI, May 9, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Republic Metals Corporation (Republic Metals) announces its recertification with ISO14001:2015 effective May 5th, 2016. Compliance with the ISO14001:2015 international standard means that the company's established environmental management systems and protocols ensure all business operations are conducted in an environmentally responsible manner as required by the standard.
In 1998, Republic Metals became the first refinery in the US to receive certification. After 17 years of conformance and improvement upon its environmental systems and protocols, Republic Metals has become the first precious metals refinery to receive certification in accordance with the most updated version of the international standard, ISO14001:2015.
