BASKING RIDGE, N.J., July 12, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- To help reduce the financial stress, risks, and anxiety that infertility patients often face, Reproductive Medicine Associates of New Jersey (RMANJ), a world-renowned leader in the field of infertility care, announced their new CareShare 100% IVF Refund Program, to be offered exclusively at RMANJ offices in Englewood, West Orange, Morristown, Basking Ridge, Springfield, Somerset, Eatontown, Freehold, Hamilton, and at their newest location in Marlton, NJ.
"As reproductive specialists, it is our shared goal to help our patients have healthy babies, but we know that cost and the risk of failure keep many patients away from care. Many never make that first consultation. We hope the CareShare Program helps to reduce those barriers," said Richard Scott, MD, FACOG, ALD/HCLD, laboratory director and a founding partner at RMANJ. "CareShare is built on RMANJ's successful and award-winning treatment paradigm – and this new program demonstrates that while we're focused on success, we will also share in the risk of failure that every patient faces with in vitro fertilization care."
CareShare will provide patients with up to six stimulated in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycles and the use of frozen embryo transfer (FET) in order to achieve one successful pregnancy that culminates with the birth of a healthy baby and birth certificate. The use of Comprehensive Chromosomal Screening (SelectCCS) is also included in the program's package price.
Through CareShare, if after all allowed attempts have been exhausted and there is no live birth and no birth certificate issued, enrolled patients will receive a 100 percent refund of their program fee. The CareShare Program is ideal for patients who don't have insurance coverage for IVF and paying out-of-pocket, or for those who have waived or exhausted their insurance benefits. Rules and restrictions apply. Eligibility for the program is based on clinical and other criteria.
"Despite mandated insurance coverage for fertility services in 15 states, many patients in New Jersey, New York and Pennsylvania still lack infertility coverage and are forced to pay out of pocket for care -- indeed, more than 50 percent of fertility patients nationwide pay out of pocket," said Jason M. Franasiak MD, FACOG, TS (ABB), lead physician at RMANJ's newest office in Marlton, NJ. "Our goal is to give IVF patients the best chance of success using an advanced and proven treatment paradigm. But if unsuccessful, CareShare will allow patients to have the financial resources to pursue other family building options in the future."
With IVF delivery rates above 60 percent -- nearly 20 percent higher than the national average -- RMANJ supports hopeful patients with the widest range of services, including IVF, egg donation, gestational surrogacy, comprehensive chromosome screening (CCS), pre-implantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), fertility preservation services, acupuncture, yoga and patient-to-patient networking.

*SART 2014; Cumulative Outcome per Intended Retrieval; Preliminary Chance of Live Birth per Cycle. Please note: A comparison of clinic success rates may not be meaningful because a patient's medical characteristics, treatment approaches and entrance criteria for assisted reproductive technology (ART) may vary from clinic to clinic.
