Rep. Fattah Announces $3.2 Million Grant for Philadelphia Traffic Control

PHILADELPHIA, Aug. 12, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Congressman Chaka Fattah (D-PA) announced today that Philadelphians will benefit from a federal grant of $3,261,000 for traffic signal upgrades to improve mobility and safety.

The discretionary grant comes from the Transportation, Community, and System Preservation Program of the U.S. Department of Transportation. The grant is directed through the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation for traffic control upgrades in Philadelphia.
