Rentrak's Senior Media Analyst Paul Dergarabedian commented, "Disney/Marvel's 'Avengers: Age of Ultron' led the international box office this weekend with $45.8 million in 91 territories; the film has taken in $860M, including a phenomenal $210 million in China, where it opened on May 12. Disney's 'Tomorrowland' posted an estimated $26.7 million in its opening weekend of international release from 65 territories representing approximately 56% of the international marketplace. Meanwhile, Universal's 'Pitch Perfect 2' opened in eight new territories and the weekend estimate is $15.2 million in 37 territories for a total of $61.7 million and Fox's Melissa McCarthy action comedy 'Spy' opened early in the Asia/Pacific region this weekend, capturing $12.5 million from 1,772 screens in 10 markets with North America and 52 International markets opening the weekend of June 5. Warner Bros.' 'Mad Max: Fury Road' crossed the $100 million mark internationally this weekend bringing its worldwide total to $212 million."
