Renowned Speaker Ken Blanchard to Offer Keynote Address at 10th Annual Geneva College Leadership Conference

PITTSBURGH, March 18 /PRNewswire/ -- Ken Blanchard, one of the nation's foremost thinkers and writers on the subject of leadership, will offer the keynote address at the Geneva College Leadership Conference 2010, scheduled for Friday, April 16, 2010. The Geneva College Leadership Conference is hosted by the Master of Science in Organizational Leadership (MSOL) program. The goals of the conference are to challenge and inspire attendees to understand and apply contemporary concepts of leadership in a variety of organizational contexts and in their own lives. The conference focuses specifically on the model of the serving leader.
At the conference, Serving Leaders will join Geneva College in presenting The Serving Leader Award, which honors a person of faith who lives out serving-leader qualities in his or her life and work. Alumni from Geneva's MSOL program and representatives from Serving Leaders will choose the winner from a host of nominees.
In addition to Ken Blanchard and John Stahl-Wert, Marcia Newman will also offer remarks at the conference. Currently the director of marketing for Stewart Richardson in Indianapolis, Newman is well known for her work with the Greenleaf Center for Servant Leadership.
