Renowned author Carl Honore, special guest of Ismael Cala at "En Cuerpo y Alma 2015" gathering in Punta Cana
MIAMI, Aug. 26, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- World-renowned lecturer and writer Carl Honore, author of the best seller 'In praise of slowness', will participate in the Inspirational Gathering "En Cuerpo y Alma 2015" ['In Body and Soul'] convened by Ismael Cala from 4 to 8 of November in Punta Cana.
"We are pleased to welcome one of the world's most acclaimed authors and lecturers, considered 'the leading evangelist of the Slow Movement.' Carl will be sharing his theory on the acceleration that dominates our lives," said Ismael Cala, host of CNN en Espanol and inspirational author who will be hosting the event.
Carl Honore, for his part, said that he was "very pleased" to participate, and noted that "what's most enjoyable is to put our lives on pause and start to enjoy the here and now."
"Are you ready to proclaim 2016 as the best year of your life?" Honore inquired. "Because I'll be giving you some advice in my lecture in Punta Cana, but I'll also be making you a present of my book, 'In praise of slowness' so you can incorporate these teachings into your own search for wellbeing."
The Inspirational Gathering En Cuerpo y Alma will be held at the exclusive Hotel Sivory Punta Cana, in Dominican Republic. Last year more than 110 people attended from 15 countries.
