Renee Crow Joins EPIC as Vice President, Hospitality Practice Leader in the West
Addition of hospitality industry risk management and insurance brokerage pro broadens the resources, expertise and knowledge available to EPIC clients
SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 27, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, a unique and innovative national retail insurance brokerage and employee benefits consulting firm, announced today that Renee Crow has joined the firm as Vice President and West Region Hospitality Practice Leader.
Crow has focused on and specialized in the risk management and insurance needs of hotels, restaurants and others in the hospitality industry since 2004, first as an Account Executive for insurance broker Arthur J Gallagher and then for the past 8 1/2 years as the Vice President, Risk Management at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants.
As EPIC's Hospitality Practice Leader, Crow will be responsible for further developing an innovative, unified approach to serving hospitality clients across the West Region and nationally. This will include strategy development and leadership, establishing risk management best practices, developing new leading-edge products and services, building client-focused service and specialty resource teams, integrating and leveraging both local and national people and resources, and managing and strengthening relationships with all underwriters and specialty markets serving the Hospitality sector and developing new business.
Crow will be based in EPIC's San Francisco headquarters and will report to Marianne Schleicher, Chief Operating Officer of the Bay Area Region.

During her time at Kimpton Hotels & Restaurants, Crow was able to reduce the organization's total cost of risk by roughly 40%, while Kimpton grew from 24 to more than 60 properties.
Professionally, Crow has earned both the Associate in Risk Management (ARM) and Construction Risk and Insurance Specialist (CRIS) designations.
