SPRING, Texas, June 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Rene Murata, M.B.A., B.S., B.A., is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Prominent Professional of the Year 2017, in the field of Consulting. Murata's professional title is Chief Executive Officer and Owner of Risk Integrity Safety Knowledge, Inc. She brings over 10 years of industry experience, as well as expertise in regulatory safety and environmental compliance, process safety and risk management, and project management, to her role.
Risk Integrity Safety Knowledge, Inc. (RISK, Inc.) is a global safety consulting company offering a full range of technical consulting, training, and staffing services in Process Safety and Risk Management. RISK, Inc. was started by a small group of professionals that saw a need for a higher level of quality and integrity in process safety management.
"At RISK, Inc. our mission is to meet our customer's expectations with the highest integrity, through our professional and personal conduct," the company's website states. "We strive to provide accurate, innovative solutions that reduce risk and improve the overall safety and reliability of operations for all our customers. At RISK, Inc., we embrace an attitude that encourages an environment where our mission to educate and assist customers in the development, deployment and maintenance of process safety programs is achieved."
In her current position, Murata has developed and led training for Process Safety and Environmental Compliance for varying levels of Corporate Organizations in a variety of disciplines providing Training, Safety, and Operations Guidance to Onshore Facilities in China, Brazil and throughout the United States.
Murata is constantly looking to learn more about and seek more information in her field. She believes in continuing her education in her chosen field, and accomplishes this goal by taking additional courses, attending conferences to listen to speakers on the newest research, and reading published literature on process safety.
Applying her knowledge from those experiences, Murata takes the time to understand her clients and assess their needs then uses this insight to better guide, educate and help them on their quests for safety. Her ultimate goal is to not only help a client improve their safety programs, but to ensure that the programs are sustainable. Murata enjoys working with people and companies who wish to improve their safety programs to protect themselves and their employees, not just perform the bare minimum.
In her quest for improving safety for others, Murata has opened an office in Brazil to better serve the countries in Central and South America. Speaking Spanish and Portuguese, she envisions building an office that can assist companies in those areas as they begin to build and improve their process safety programs. Her intent is to train others in the quality of facilitation for which RISK is known in the United States.
Due to the many challenges that Murata has faced as a female CEO, Rene recognizes the obstacles that women face in the business world. As such, she has started another company, called CEO Essence.
CEO Essence is a company designed specifically to help women reach their business potential by learning how to connect their intuitive side with every day business decisions. With CEO Essence, Murata has developed a series of videos designed to help women recognize and value their differences from men in how they approach life and then to apply those differences in their businesses. She is also using her experience to coach other women, specifically healers, teachers and entrepreneurs, in their journey to developing a successful business.
Murata is also partnering with designer Salvatore Laureano in the development of a line of women's clothing. RM Essence combines high fashion with business savvy using eco-friendly, animal cruelty free fabrics. Being vegan, Murata believes that it is possible to live a plant based life in all areas of life, and that she shouldn't have to sacrifice fashion for her beliefs.
Aside from the demands of work, Murata enjoys traveling, playing games with her grandchildren, going to the beach, skiing, reading, baking, and cooking. Rene is an avid reader, reading three to four books a week. She believes in expanding her education in all aspects of her life, often reading a cookbook while reading a business advice book along with some type of philosophical piece.
Additionally, Murata enjoys traveling to new places, exploring the local culture and monuments and trying new things with her husband, like parachuting and paddle boarding. She believes in the adventure that life has to offer, and lives it fully.
Throughout her educational career, Rene earned her M.B.A. in Global Enterprise Management from Jones International University, and also holds a B.A. in Applied Physics as well as a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Southern Oregon University.
