GREENSBURG, Pa., June 28, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Renata Augustine, O.S.B is recognized by Continental Who's Who as a Pinnacle Professional in the field of Hospitality as a result of her role as Treasurer and Operations Manager with the St. Emma Monastery-Robertshaw Country House Bed and Breakfast.
Built in 1931, The Robertshaw Country House is a grand house constructed with fine craftsmanship and excellent materials. Amidst the natural beauty of the grounds at St. Emma's, the Robertshaw Country House offers a charming and lovingly decorated home-like setting for a home-away-from-home experience. Here guests can enjoy a European style breakfast with an extensive selection of wonderful foods and those who stay at the Country House are invited to enjoy beautiful gardens and outdoor terraces. Those so desiring may join the monastic community for The Liturgy of the Hours as well as daily Mass. Guests also have the opportunity to simply enjoy some quiet prayer time in one of the chapels on the grounds.
Accommodations include the Robertshaw Suite which contains a large sitting room with gas fireplace, bedroom with queen size bed, and private bath. The Garden Room includes two double beds with a small sitting area and private bath and the Sunset Room has a queen size bed with gas fireplace and small sitting area as well as a private bath. The Robertshaw Country House is also home to the Emma Room which contains two twin beds with electric fireplace and small sitting area, as well as access to the hall bath.
Through her work with The Robertshaw Country House, Renata works to extend the hospitality of St. Emma Monastery to guests in the Retreat House, Monastic Guest House and the new Bed and Breakfast. Additionally, she serves as the community treasurer and works in the business office of the establishment. Belonging to a small community of Benedictine Nuns, Renata has experienced Jesus in a personal way that has drawn her to this particular Benedictine Monastery with its own history and beautiful setting.
