The renovations at this AAA Four Diamond hotel in Orlando at SeaWorld include revitalization to its numerous second floor meeting rooms, 65 suite accommodations, expansion of the pool area including a children's interactive water playground, an added 8,000 square-foot function lawn and more.

2nd Floor Meeting Space

With 185,000 total square-feet of flexible function space throughout the property, Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld's transformation of its second floor meeting space now boasts 23 breakout rooms of various sizes, ranging from two Executive Boardrooms with plush executive seating for 12 people, to a 2,000 square-foot Orlando meeting room with an air wall for added flexibility. For a fun and indigenous touch that reflects the aquatic tone present throughout the hotel, each breakout room is named after a sea creature, such as Anemone, Mako and Tarpon.

Atlantis Kitchen

A fun, unique and intriguing option for events is the Atlantis Kitchen, an interactive and open kitchen available for group functions, intimate dinners, cooking classes, demonstrations and more. The space features the latest in modern cooking equipment and techniques that include liquid nitrogen and immersion circulators for sous vide-style preparations. The space can accommodate groups up to 50 guests inside the kitchen with an option to expand to 200 for reception events.

New Function Lawn

An 8,000-square-foot function lawn, located adjacent to the pool, has been added to the resort's existing function lawn and terrace. The area provides a beautiful outdoor event space for up to 1,000 in a private setting. Combined with the Pool Lawn and Terrace, the space can host up to 2,000 in a lush, tropical setting.

Addition of R Aqua Zone

As an expansion to the pool area, Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld developed R Aqua Zone, an interactive and family friendly water playground. A $3.5 million project built by Winter Park Construction, R Aqua Zone features a teen and tween play area with two water slides – one more than 120 feet long – periscope guns, a gyroscope spinner, shooting water jets, a water windmill and more. A designated play area for toddlers includes a tot pool, a small slide, more than 20 mini water jets and a rain tree.  

Suite Renovation

The resort's 65 Sea World Orlando hotel suites underwent a complete renovation, creating a residential and modern design. Featuring six distinct types of suites, they range from the luxurious Presidential suite complete with wet bar, garden tub and large balcony, to a number of corner King Suites, oversized rooms that feature large windows, a sectional sofa, California closet and the option to connect to a King room.
