Renaissance Charter School at Cypress to Host 'We're In This Together Pep Rally'
WEST PALM BEACH, Fla., Jan. 16, 2019 /PRNewswire/ -- Renaissance Charter School at Cypress will wrap up a week's worth of school choice celebrations with its "We're In This Together Pep Rally" from 1:15-2:15 Friday, Jan. 25.
Hundreds of students, parents, and community members will gather for the celebration, which will feature remarks by Vice Mayor of Westlake, Katrina Long-Robinson, and West Palm Beach Commissioner Cory Neering, District 2.
Throughout National School Choice Week, Renaissance Charter School at Cypress will be facilitating other school choice festivities, including an "I Love My School" poster-making activity, a parent appreciation breakfast, a family skate night, and a performance of the National School Choice Week dance.
These events are planned to coincide with the history-making celebration of National School Choice Week 2019, which will feature more than 40,000 school choice events across all 50 states.
"We will be celebrating National School Choice Week by featuring multiple speakers and presenters who will shed light on the importance of school choice," said Arvin Townsel, enrollment administrator at Renaissance Charter School at Cypress. "Student leaders will also be actively involved in the planning and execution of the event."
Renaissance Charter School at Cypress is a tuition-free public charter school serving grades K-8 in the West Palm Beach area.
As a nonpartisan, nonpolitical public awareness effort, National School Choice Week shines a positive spotlight on effective education options for students, families, and communities around the country.
