SAN FRANCISCO, Oct. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Remind, a communication platform for education, today announced new integrations that enable administrators to connect their learning management systems (LMS) to Remind. Along with partnering with Canvas and Schoology, two of the leading LMSes in K-12 and higher education, Remind is now compatible with any platform that complies with Learning Tools Interoperability (LTI), the industry standard for integrating learning systems.
By connecting Remind to an organization's LMS, administrators can streamline communication and improve how their communities engage with important information. "We've seen the difference that text messages and smartphone notifications can make in driving engagement," said Remind CEO Brian Grey. "The ability to integrate Remind with an LMS allows schools, districts, and other institutions to add a crucial layer of communication to the learning infrastructure they've already invested in."
In addition to Canvas and Schoology, Remind's platform partners include more than two dozen apps across logistics, instructional content, and student engagement. In November, the company will introduce new partners as part of its suite of platform offerings. "More than 10 million people use Remind to share links, attachments, and other resources every month," Grey said. "Expanding the ecosystem around our platform takes us another step closer to bringing effective communication to every aspect of teaching and learning."
