HUNDREDS FLOCK TO SEE NEW SEARCH SITE AND THEIR PET UNICORN
EMERYVILLE, Calif., Nov. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- With a rush of attendees and over a hundred photos taken at the unicorn photo booth, the national launch of Relola's revolutionary new search site was the talk of the NAR Realtors® Conference & Expo Thursday afternoon. The booth, designed by Birte Walter and Emma Star Jensen and fabricated by Thane Williams, features green building materials such as a cardboard and cork constructed house and numerous cardboard kiosks styled as trees where the site can be experienced on refurbished laptops.

With three more days and thousands more conference attendees expected to pass through the booth's quarters, the staff are optimistic about the rollout's success. In "beta" for nearly a year, the NAR conference is the first demonstration of the "alpha" site - a national unveiling in a climate where agents feel increasingly left out of the online search equation. With its focus on fostering organic interactions between agents and homebuyers it is perhaps fitting that the booth itself relies so heavily on the same simple, straightforward and honest materials as the content of the site promotes.
Kristen Policy, CPO and Co-Founder of Relola, explains, "We wanted our booth to demonstrate our dedication to innovation and the environment. By not contributing to the acres of carpet in the convention hall, and by producing a booth from repurposed and recyclable materials, we have created a booth that is both responsible and fun."
