RELM Wireless Awarded $2.0 Million Order From Harris County, Texas for 800MHz Trunking Radios

WEST MELBOURNE, Fla., May 15, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- RELM Wireless Corporation (NYSE MKT: RWC) today announced that it has received an order from Harris County, Texas (Houston) totaling approximately $2.0 million.  The county is purchasing P25 digital 800MHz portable radios (KNG P800) with trunking.  The order also includes related accessories and features.  The radios will be deployed for use by county law enforcement professionals.  It is anticipated that the order will be fulfilled during the second quarter of 2012.
