Relive the Magic of Harry Potter In OnlineCollegePlan's Latest Ranking
CHARLOTTE, N.C., Jan. 30, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- In the Harry Potter universe, the Muggle-Born Registration Commission was established in 1997. Due to this prejudiced registration process, all records of muggle-born witches and wizards born in that time period were ultimately destroyed. Tragically, many millennials waited for their Hogwarts acceptance letters, yet none of them would ever come. OnlineCollegePlan.com has sorted 60 of the nation's schools into the four different Hogwarts houses: Slytherin, Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, and Hufflepuff [ http://www.onlinecollegeplan.com/hogwarts-harry-potter/ ] -- allowing students to experience the magic of their favorite series with a different acceptance letter.
Research editor Branden Carter examined and carefully sorted the schools into the four magical houses based on what the school values most. Afterwards, the schools were ranked within each house based on freshman retention, and graduation rate (50/50). With language reminiscent of the books, and all the information a prospective student could need - this is a fun and informative read. At the end of the piece, the Hogwarts House Cup was awarded to the highest ranking house, based on the quality of schools. Without spoiling the fun, the shining star of the piece was the University of Pennsylvania due to the astounding graduation rate - over 95%.
