Reliv International Announces Asia-Pacific Initiative
CHESTERFIELD, Mo., July 18, 2012 /PRNewswire/ -- Reliv International, Inc. (NASDAQ:RELV), a maker of supplements to promote and provide healthy energy, weight loss, anti-aging, athletic performance and optimal health, today announced that its Board of Directors has authorized an initiative to restructure and further develop its business in the Asia-Pacific Region.
The Board of Directors has determined to establish a new entity for operations in the Asia-Pacific Region and to appoint R. Scott Montgomery, Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of Reliv, to the position of President of the new entity. Mr. Montgomery will assume responsibility for management of current operations in the Asia-Pacific Region including Australia, New Zealand, the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia and Brunei.
Under his direction, management is developing and intends to implement a strategic plan for the region that includes management development, financing, product line development, new market entries and market development, both for existing operations and new market entries.
