RELEX Named Europe's Fastest Growing SCM Solution Provider for the Fourth Year Running
HELSINKI, December 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ --
Deloitte lists RELEX among 2014 Technology Fast 500TM in EMEAFinnish supply chain solution provider RELEX is, yet again, the top-placed supply chain company in Deloitte's annual Technology Fast 500TM EMEA rankings. It's the fourth year running that RELEX has enjoyed the accolade, measuring the fastest growing technology companies in the EMEA region.
The listing caps a great year for the company during which it added customers at its fastest ever pace, signing 25 new implementations, opening its fifth international office and expanding into new territories. RELEX now operates in 13 European countries and South Africa.
Deloitte placed the company at #334 in a list that ranks the fastest growing technology companies from over 20 countries, based on percentage revenue growth over a five-year period.
During the five years from 2009, RELEX grew by an astonishing 488%. The company has been expanding rapidly since it was founded in 2005, employing around 100 people in five locations around Europe. In November RELEX announced it had opened a new office in Norway.
With RELEX's customers routinely cutting inventory by 30%, waste by up to 40%, boosting availability to 98% plus and becoming more profitable in the process, RELEX co-founder and CEO, Mikko Kärkkäinen, says the company's growth owes everything to their success.
"We'll look back on 2014 as the year we established ourselves as Europe's go-to provider of supply chain solutions, offering effective demand forecasting and sales & operations planning systems, especially in challenging areas," says Kärkkäinen.
"We're winning clients from across retail and wholesale because many of the problems our customers struggle with are common across a wide range of markets and sectors."
"Part of RELEX's success is undoubtedly because clients like our SaaS-based business model, built around agility and rapid implementation, and structured to minimise clients' risks at every turn," Kärkkäinen says. "And because our customers proactively spread the word about our approach, our results, our flexibility and our commitment, more and more companies are finding it easy to say 'Yes' to RELEX."
RELEX was founded in 2005 by three supply chain research scientists and now operates from offices in the UK, Germany, Sweden, Norway and its HQ in Helsinki, Finland.
