Registration Opens on Monday, August 2nd, for the Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon With Special One Day, Online Savings

PITTSBURGH, July 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Registration for the Dick's Sporting Goods Pittsburgh Marathon opens Monday, August 2nd, 2010. To celebrate the first day of registration for the May 15, 2011 race, special one-day savings will be added to the low, early bird registration price for the Marathon and Half Marathon for 24 hours only. In addition, anyone registering for the Marathon or Half Marathon at any time during opening week will be registered to win one of twenty Dick's Sporting Goods gift cards worth $25.

Race Director Patrice Matamoros comments, "We're very excited about our plans for the 2011 race. We've sold out for two years in a row, and we're hoping these early registration incentives will encourage people who've been turned away in the past to commit early and guarantee their spot at the starting line."

Half Marathon

One day sale: $60 on August 2, 2010 – online only

$230 through February 28, 2011
