Registration Now Live for AFA's Annual Air & Space Conference
Register now to hear Secretary of Defense and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff speak at AFA's Premier Conference
ARLINGTON, Va., May 2, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Registration for the Air Force Association's (AFA) 2012 Air & Space Conference and Technology Exposition is now live! This unique three-day symposium will be from September 17 to September 19, 2012, at the Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center on the Potomac, in National Harbor, just across the river from Alexandria and minutes from downtown Washington, DC.
AFA's Air & Space Conference is an ideal opportunity for professional development for military, government, industry, and academic professionals interested in the latest in aerospace developments. The Conference offers invaluable networking opportunities, interesting and educational forums, and expert dialogue on national defense and aerospace issues.
Expect to hear timely presentations from top leaders of the nation's defense as both Secretary of Defense Leon Panetta and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Martin E. Dempsey join the line-up of speakers this year. Other confirmed speakers can be found here.
In addition, the Technology Exposition promises to be even grander this year, with an additional 35,000 square feet from last year. The exhibit hall will showcase the latest developments in airpower and space capabilities vital to the Air Force mission. The extra space also allows AFA to offer business-to-business suites, a special Speakers' Corner, and a Veterans and Spouses Career Center.
Other special events include a ceremony honoring AFA's National Aerospace Award Winners and the 2012 Outstanding Airmen of the Year. And, as always, the event will culminate with the annual Air Force Anniversary Dinner.
Be a part of AFA's national forum on air and space issues. More information, including the current agenda and registration details, can be found at www.afa.org/events/conference/2012/default.asp. Over the next few weeks, look for additional speakers and other information updates at www.AFA.org.
