Registration is Now Open for the FPA Annual Conference, the Largest Gathering of CFP® Professionals in 2015
DENVER, Feb. 5, 2015 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Registration is officially open for the financial planning profession's largest gathering of financial planning professionals – FPA Annual Conference - BE Boston 2015. The conference, which brings thousands of Certified Financial Planner™ (CFP®) professionals together each year, will be held Sept. 26-28 at the Boston Convention and Exhibition Center.
The FPA Annual Conference is the signature event within the financial planning profession that covers the latest advanced financial planning issues and topics of interest to financial planners and those supporting the financial planning process. While the program is currently being solidified, FPA is securing established, professional speakers who will provide attendees with opportunities to learn about advanced financial planning topics, practice management, proven marketing techniques, technology and more. Roundtable discussion groups will be held to allow attendees to exchange ideas and insights resulting from the engaging educational sessions. Additionally, the FPA Annual Conference will once again feature opportunities for attendees to take away key business success tactics from the Business Consulting Lounge and Business Rapid Fire Session.

While speakers are still being solidified, we are pleased to announce a few scheduled keynote speakers, including:
- Jim Craig – Widely considered the heart and soul of the 1980 USA Olympic Hockey Team, the "Miracle on Ice" victory over the vaunted Soviet Union team is largely regarded as one of the most extraordinary sports victories of all time. Craig has translated many of the essential teamwork principles from the Olympics into successful business methods and will use these methods to help attendees develop a team-oriented environment that will allow them to overcome key business challenges.
- Dr. Michio Kaku – An internationally recognized futurist, Dr. Kaku holds the Henry Semat Chair in Theoretical Physics at the City University of New York. A graduate of Harvard University and the University of California at Berkeley, Dr. Kaku will help attendees look into the next 20 years and reveal what is in store for computers, finance, banking and commerce. The author of several international best-sellers, he has appeared on Nightline, 60 Minutes, Good Morning America, CNN, David Letterman, The Colbert Report, Conan, Real Time with Bill Maher and many others.
- Jill Schlesinger, CFP® – Once again joining FPA's Annual Conference as the General Session Host is Jill Schlesinger, CFP®. Schlesinger, an Emmy-nominated Business Analyst for CBS News, will moderate the general sessions and join the keynote speakers on stage for candid, one-on-one interviews where she will delve further into their topics using her background as a CFP® professional and journalist.
