In October, which is National Breast Cancer Awareness month, Regis Corporation (NYSE: RGS) salons host their annual Clip for the Cure campaign to raise money for breast cancer research. On Saturday, October 13, over 7,000 Regis Corporation corporate salons across North America will host a one-day haircutting event to raise $1 million for the fight against breast cancer. Simply get a haircut at a participating salon on October 13, and 10% of proceeds from each haircut will go to the Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research, which supports early diagnosis, prevention, treatment and research to find a cure for breast cancer.
Throughout the month of October, 10% of net proceeds from the sale of private label products, including customer favorites like DESIGNLINE®, Cost Cutters Professional and MasterCuts' M|C line, will be donated directly to the Regis Foundation for Breast Cancer Research. Limited edition pink products and $1 breast cancer awareness magnets will be available for purchase at the salons. Customers and businesses are also encouraged to donate to the cause.
