Regent Surgical Health Creates New ASC Joint Venture with Providence Portland Medical Center and Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center of Portland, Ore.

WESTCHESTER, Ill., June 10, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Regent Surgical Health, an industry leading surgery center management and development company specializing in hospital / physician ASC joint ventures, and its physician partners at the Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center today announced a new joint venture with the not-for-profit Providence Portland Medical Center. Regent now partners with 25 surgical facilities in the United States and Europe; 20 of which are hospital / physician ASC joint ventures.

The 483-bed Providence Portland Medical Center is part of Providence Health & Services network, the largest private employer in Oregon.

Plaza Ambulatory Surgery Center is planned to open in summer 2014 with general surgery, ENT, pain management, endoscopy, podiatry and urology as the tentatively available specialties at the center.
