Regent Surgical Health Announces Leadership Promotions
Key staff will strengthen partnerships, facilitate new era of company growth
WESTCHESTER, Ill., Nov. 12, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Regent Surgical Health, an industry-leading surgery center management and development company specializing in hospital and physician ambulatory surgery center joint ventures, today announced four promotions to the company's leadership team:
- Kathleen Bernicky, RN - Vice President of Risk Management and Clinical Operations: Bernicky will oversee risk management and clinical operations for Regent's facilities. She will assist Regent's surgery centers with risk analysis and resolution, maintaining quality assurance and ongoing performance improvement. She will be responsible for overseeing all activities related to patient safety, as well as serving on the ASC Quality Collaboration Committee.
- Christine Henry Musa - Vice President of Development/Analytics: Musa will be responsible for all aspects of supply chain for the company's nationwide network of surgery centers, developing and executing strategies and tactics to drive cost reduction, increased productivity and adoption of best practices. She also will pursue strategic business development opportunities with physicians and hospitals, and oversee Regent's ethics and compliance program.
- Michael Orseno, Vice President of Revenue Cycle Management: Orseno will oversee all revenue cycle management operations for Regent's surgery centers. He also will manage billing and collections services and enhance the RCM process for independent surgery centers across the United States.
- Andrea Woodell, Vice President of Managed Care: Woodell will oversee annual negotiations of payer contracts for Regent's facilities. She also will work collaboratively with Regent's hospital partners to support and facilitate successful managed-care contracting efforts.

Regent also recently announced the hiring of Chris Bishop as the company's new President. In this role, Bishop will help lead Regent into the next phase of the company's growth, leveraging nearly two decades of healthcare experience to strengthen relationships with physicians and hospitals for new and existing ambulatory surgery center partnerships.
In addition, Bishop will oversee the day-to-day operations of the company, as well as Regent partnerships around the globe. Much of his focus will be on developing and executing marketing strategies that continue the pace of Regent's impressive long-term growth, as well as driving Regent's rapid rollout of new outpatient service lines.
