SAN FRANCISCO, Jan. 25, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Reflektive, the real-time performance management company, will sponsor a webinar to shed light on the latest performance management trends and help companies sort through their options to create a culture of real-time feedback that enables employees to thrive.
The live event, hosted by the Human Capital Institute (HCI), is set for noon PST on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 with on-demand availability immediately following the broadcast at www.hci.org.
During the session "Fact Checking the Latest Performance Management Trends," guest Alan Colquitt, Ph.D., author of "Next Generation Performance Management: The Triumph of Science Over Myth and Superstition" and former director of Global Assessment and Workforce Research at Eli Lilly & Company, will provide expert insight to help companies become better consumers of performance management information, and learn to separate the "wheat from the chaff" when choosing performance management best practices to optimize employee engagement, performance and success.
"With so much buzz around performance management and new best practices, it can be difficult to know which techniques will work for an organization's unique needs," Reflektive CEO Rajeev Behera said. "We're pleased to collaborate with HCI and Mr. Colquitt, one of the foremost experts on the subject, to help HR leaders and executive teams understand various claims and tactics to make more informed decisions."
Webinar attendees will learn about:
- New performance management practices and what they mean
- Guidance on how to determine whether these practices will work for their organization and why or why not
- Alternative practices that may better meet the organization's needs
As the chief architect for Lilly's global performance management and employee assessment strategy, Colquitt led Lilly's workforce engagement program and research and analytics projects encompassing all phases of the employee lifecycle—from recruiting and selection through talent identification and development to succession planning and separation. He has written and presented extensively on these topics and has represented Lilly on i4cp's performance management exchange group, the Conference Board, the Mayflower Group, the Attrition and Retention Consortium and the Institute for Corporate Productivity. He holds a master's and Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology and is a member of the Academy of Management, Society for Human Resource Management and HR People + Strategy, as well as several psychology organizations.
