Red Moon Marketing Launches Sustainability Program in Wilmington, NC
CHARLOTTE, N.C., April 21, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- Red Moon Marketing continues its leadership in sustainability marketing with the launch of the Coca-Cola Recycle & Win Program in Wilmington, NC on February 22, 2016.
Initially designed and developed by Red Moon in 2009, Coca-Cola Recycle & Win is a unique public private partnership designed to increase local recycling rates. With the successful Wilmington launch, Red Moon Marketing has implemented the Coca-Cola Recycle & Win initiative in more than 20 cities across the southeast and as far north as Chicago.
Wilmington residents can take part in Coca-Cola Recycle & Win by placing a "Give It Back" sticker on their recycling bin. If a resident's sticker is spotted by the Coca-Cola Recycle & Win prize patrol, a $50 Harris Teeter gift card is awarded, if the resident recycled properly.
"Recycling is an important part of our goal to make Wilmington the greenest city in the Southeast. Increasing recycling participation is just one more way to build a sustainable community," said Wilmington Mayor Bill Saffo.
"Coca-Cola Recycling & Win has positively impacted communities around the country by encouraging recycling and extending the life of landfills," said Jim Bailey, Red Moon Marketing CEO and President. "And we are thrilled to bring this important sustainability initiative to Wilmington on behalf of our clients Coca-Cola and Harris Teeter."
