WASHINGTON, July 18, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board has published a new list of Recovery Act recipients that have failed to submit spending reports for the first quarter of 2012. It shows that nearly 46 percent of the non-compliers received grants from the Department of Justice, the nation's principal law enforcement agency.

The new Wall of Shame, the nickname for the list of non-compliers published on Recovery.gov, shows 303 recipients of Recovery Act funds failed to submit spending reports for the first quarter of this year. Of those missed spending reports, 139 involve grants issued by the Justice Department, according to a Recovery Blog written by Michael Wood, the Executive Director of the Recovery Board.
