WASHINGTON, July 3, 2012 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- The Recovery Accountability and Transparency Board has added a new feature to Recovery.gov, the website that carries information on how the $840 billion in Recovery funds have been spent. The new "Agency Profile" feature will allow users to access summary data on each of the 28 federal agencies that distribute funds under the Recovery Act.

The feature will show, among other things, how much money an agency has distributed to recipients in the form of contracts, grants, loans and entitlements, according to a Recovery Blog written by Michael Wood, the Executive Director of the Recovery Board.
"We think this new page will enlighten you about the Recovery program, and we would like to hear from you," Wood wrote in his blog.
