BOSTON, July 26, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- Recorded Future, the threat intelligence company, today announced file reputation data from ReversingLabs is now available directly in the Recorded Future SaaS product and available to all customers. This significant increase in malware file and hash data empowers security teams to have extensive visibility into file reputations to make informed decisions and reduce risk. This is a substantial expansion of technical data available in Recorded Future, giving security teams an increase of 150 times in total coverage for malware and goodware files, available immediately.
ReversingLabs collects and processes millions of files daily to build and maintain the largest commercially available private file reputation repository, with over 5 billion unique goodware and malware samples. Recorded Future powers analysts to capture and exploit relevant threat intelligence from the open, deep, and dark web in real time. When combined, customers experience these breakthrough capabilities:
- Five times increase in new daily hash indicators. New hashes in Recorded Future can come from any open, closed or technical source, and each is enriched with intelligence from ReversingLabs.
- On-demand intelligence lookup for 5 billion files. Hash Intel Cards are enhanced with a live lookup to ReversingLabs, meaning threat analysts can gain intelligence in real time.
