Record-Setting Pole Vaulter Kaitlin Petrillose Joins BiPro
EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn., May 25, 2016 /PRNewswire/ -- BiPro USA is excited to announce that it has signed record-setting professional pole vaulter Kaitlin Petrillose. The University of Texas product broke the college women's pole vault record in 2014, clearing 15 feet and one inch. Petrillose is an NCAA indoor champion and a seven-time Big 12 Conference champion.
With her college career in the rear-view mirror, Petrillose is training for the 2016 United States Track and Field Olympic Team Trials. Her training regimen emphasizes proper nutrition, which is why she gravitated toward BiPro whey protein isolate.
"There's so much sugar in the other protein powders that I have used. There are also some products with tons of carbs. It's really depressing," Petrillose said. "Then I tried BiPro and I loved it."
Petrillose joins long-distance runner Jordan Hasay as the second BiPro-powered track and field athlete vying for a spot in the 2016 Olympics.
"Kaitlin is young but has already accomplished a great deal as an athlete," said Polly Olson, vice president of sales, marketing and new business development. "We're excited to watch her pursue her Olympic dreams."
BiPro USA is a consumer division of Agropur inc.
