GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., May 19, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Recondo Technology (Recondo), the leading provider of cloud-based revenue cycle connectivity and applications, today announced two new executive appointments:
- Eldon Richards joins Recondo as Chief Technology Officer from PatientPoint, a leader in patient engagement solutions, where he led product development and technology teams across the enterprise as Executive Vice President of Product and Technology. Previously, Richards led the technology team for the Care Coordination Solutions business at PatientPoint, and various organizations at Unitedhealth Group. Eldon's stellar career at Unitedhealth Group spanned 18 years, including leading worldwide teams that developed groundbreaking products such as Optum's Enterprise Computer Assisted Coding, and successfully deployed hundreds of production releases every year.
- Perry Sweet joins Recondo as Chief Client Officer from Allscripts, where he was Vice President of Services, Support, and Account Management for the company's Population Health and Community Solutions. Perry was awarded the 2014 Allscripts CEO Award out of all Allscripts employees for his leadership, revenue growth and client satisfaction. He brings to Recondo decades of experience leading healthcare technology business units at Eclipsys (now Allscripts), First Consulting Group and IBM.
"I'm excited to welcome Eldon and Perry, who bring to our leadership team several decades of experience in building exceptional teams that elevated client satisfaction and developed and delivered new technology solutions that resulted in tremendous market share gains," said Recondo CEO Jay Deady. "They will hit the ground running with expertise that will significantly help our clients to become more efficient while serving their patients even more effectively."
Richards has extensive experience in forming teams that excel at swiftly responding to market technology needs and continuously improving quality. At PatientPoint, a leader in patient engagement technologies, his teams developed and released three new SaaS products in 2014 alone. These products significantly expanded PatientPoint's addressable market. He drove product and process improvements to reduce overall external defect counts by over 97 percent, scaled the team to align supply and demand, increased the productivity of the team by 150 percent, and received the company's Core Value Award for Integrity.
During his career at Unitedhealth Group, Richards developed and led global teams that collectively became a world-class engineering organization. At Unitedhealth Group, Richards led a technology organization responsible for over 30 products – mostly SaaS—in the healthcare revenue cycle management market; oversaw a 98 percent delivery success rate (on time, on budget, on quality, on scope and on benefits) for over 600 releases per year; and drove the implementation of new software development and project management methodologies to streamline product development and launch.
Sweet brings to Recondo decades of proven experience leading professional services units that break records in revenue and customer satisfaction. At Allscripts he led over 200 employees as the Vice President of Services, Support, and Account Management for Population Health and Community Solutions. Previous to that role and Allscripts acquisition, Perry was responsible for the growth of Professional Services at Eclipsys, including the Electronic Health Record, Revenue Cycle, and Decision Support businesses. His Eclipsys team grew professional services revenue from $89 million in 2005 to $154 million in 2010.
Previous to Allscripts, at First Consulting Group, Sweet grew services revenue by 300 percent over a four-year period. Prior to that Sweet had a 16-year career at IBM, where he held a series of progressively larger leadership roles including Healthcare Channel Business Unit Executive, a role in which he was responsible for growing a $250 million channel business unit in the healthcare, finance, and government marketplaces.
