Recondo Technology Achieves SSAE 16 Certification For Controls Design and Operations

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo., Oct. 29, 2013 /PRNewswire/ -- Recondo Technology today announced today that the firm's control procedures and compliance have been verified in a Service Organization Control Report (SOC 1) prepared under the terms of the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements No. 16 (SSAE 16) by independent auditing firm Linford & Company.

Recondo® received two SSAE 16 reports, one for its Software as a Service (SaaS) operations and one for its Trilogi® Revenue Recovery operations. Recondo passed both audits with "unqualified" auditor's opinion(s) for an SSAE 16 report, which indicates that Recondo achieved all control objectives without a significant exception or deficiency.

SSAE 16 is the replacement standard for SAS 70 as the authoritative guideline for reporting on a service organization such as Recondo. It not only encompasses the overall requirements contained in SAS 70, but also extends many of the control measurements to better align with international standards. Examples of control points include (but are not limited to): financial management; HR and training; security management; operational procedures; software development procedures and source code control; protection of Protected Health Information (PHI), and data center security. The firm's external compliance auditors looked at all aspects of Recondo business operations and technology. Additionally, the auditors monitored and confirmed that Recondo followed all procedures and controls for the last six months.
