On April 14, 2014, Accenture plc (Accenture) announced that it has been ranked as the top life science information technology (IT) services vendor consecutively for the fourth consecutive year in a global survey conducted by IDC Health Insights. The survey, which was conducted on industry leaders to know which life science vendors they planned to use in 2014, found that more respondents expect to contract with Accenture during the next 12 months for IT services than any other vendor. The Company informed that the IDC Health Insights report is a bi-annual IT budget-tracking survey, which polled 107 industry leaders on planned IT budgetary spending, technology priorities and vendor preference. Cerner Corporation Analyst Notes
On April 7, 2014, Cerner Corporation (Cerner) announced that it will release its Q1 2014 earnings results after the market closes on April 24, 2014. Plug Power Inc. Analyst Notes
On April 15, 2014, the shares of Plug Power Inc. (Plug Power) declined 4.51% to end the session at $6.99. During the session, the Company's shares opened at $7.40 and fluctuated in the range of $6.53 - $7.48. A total of 23.45 million shares changed hands during the day. On April 14, 2014, T-Mobile US, Inc. (T-Mobile) unveiled its latest Un-carrier move - a campaign to eliminate overage penalties, one of the most reviled wireless industry practices. The Company has abolished overages for all customers on T-Mobile consumer plans, and its CEO has also laid down a challenge to the nation's largest carriers, AT&T, Verizon and Sprint, to follow the same. According to the Company, these penalties from the three largest U.S. carriers take more than $1 billion out of consumers' pockets every year. Last year, T-Mobile banished annual service contracts and began phasing out overage charges with the launch of Simple Choice.
