Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada Receives $50,000 for Wells Fargo's Neighborhood LIFT Program
LAS VEGAS, April 15, 2013 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rebuilding Together Southern Nevada (RTSNV) recently announced that the organization was the recipient of $50,000 from Wells Fargo for repair and renovation projects for low-income homeowners in support of the "Neighborhood LIFT" program.
RTSNV is the local non-profit of the national organization that provides free home repair, accessibility modification and energy conservation services for low-income Southern Nevada homeowners, particularly the elderly, people living with disabilities, multi-generational families and military veterans.

The Neighborhood LIFT program is a collaborative effort between Wells Fargo and the Wells Fargo Foundation to attract new buyers to housing markets impacted by foreclosures. The Neighborhood LIFT program has encouraged homeownership through down payment assistance in conjunction with home purchase loans, large home buyer education events including neighborhood and home tours, and city-specific initiatives.
In support of mission to preserve affordable home ownership, RTSNV will utilize the Neighborhood LIFT grant to support emergency home repair and accessibility modification programs.
