Rebuilding Together Announces New Leadership and Membership on Board of Directors
WASHINGTON, March 12 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Rebuilding Together, the nation's leading nonprofit working to preserve affordable homeownership, announces new leadership on their Board of Directors for the 2010 year.

William Good, Executive Vice President of the National Roofing Contractors Association (NRCA), is the new Board Chairman for Rebuilding Together. Bill joined the Rebuilding Together Board of Directors in March 2007, and has since served as Chair of the Audit Committee and has been a member of the Executive Committee. He has an innate understanding of the needs and capacity of Rebuilding Together as a nonprofit organization. He is an expert in the construction and roofing industry; he began his career at NRCA in 1973, and continues to play a vital role in the health and growth of the roofing industry and Rebuilding Together's construction projects. Rebuilding Together is pleased to announce Mr. Good as the new Board Chairman.
Additionally, Rebuilding Together is welcoming three new members to serve on the Board of Directors: Cara Heiden, The Honorable Jim Nussle, and Kelly Reed.
Cara Heiden is Co-President of Wells Fargo Home Mortgage, one of the nation's leading providers of home mortgages. Ms. Heiden has great experience in the financial housing industry and has worked for Wells Fargo since 1981. She has served on several boards, panels, and committees; Rebuilding Together is pleased to have her as a Board member.
As the President & CEO of The Nussle Group, The Honorable Jim Nussle provides senior leadership at his firm and is exceptionally knowledgeable in policy-making, advocacy and the political process in the Washington, D.C. legislative environment. Mr. Nussle served as the 36th Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush following a long legislative career on Capitol Hill. For 16 years, Mr. Nussle served on the 102nd and to the seven succeeding Congresses in the U.S. House of Representatives, representing Iowa, during which time he sat on the Budget, Ways and Means, Agriculture and Banking Committees. During his extensive service in the legislative and executive fields, he has become an expert on such issues as finance, health care and energy.
Kelly Reed, Executive Director of Honeywell Hometown Solutions, is also joining Rebuilding Together's Board of Directors. At Honeywell, Mr. Reed is responsible for leading the company's social responsibility and community relations efforts. Throughout his career, Mr. Reed has created programs that have received some of the communications industry's top awards. He has proven to be a strong voice for the betterment of community through creative thinking and innovative programs.
Strong leadership and an understanding of the housing, energy, low-income, and advocacy fields are incredibly important to the Rebuilding Together network. These four members are ideal leaders in their fields to ensure the growth and health of Rebuilding Together's work and effectiveness across the country.
