Realty Austin and Foundation Communities Partnership Results in Estimated $1,258,570 in Funds Pledged for Austin Affordable Housing Needs
Austin's Best Place to Work Continues to Drive Home Its Mission with Its $50,000 Matching Gift Fund to Assist Growing Need of Affordable Housing in Austin
AUSTIN, Texas, Jan. 14, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Realty Austin, an award-winning Austin-based real estate brokerage, and Foundation Communities announce final results of their 2014 match fund partnership. Together they celebrate another record-breaking milestone of $1,258,570 total funds pledged at the annual fundraiser held at newly developed property Capital Studios.
Three years ago Realty Austin and its team took the lead and sponsored the matching gift fund for the local nonprofit. Co-owners Jonathan and Yvette Boatwright generously matched contributions by their kindhearted team of real estate agents and staff for a total gift of $50,000 annually.

In previous years of giving, the nonprofit received nearly $800,000 in pledges at the annual event. 2014's single fundraising luncheon resulted in a 50% increase with over $1.2 million to help working families with kids, veterans, seniors, and individuals with disabilities.
This matching gift fund serves as inspiration for the nearly 700 guests at the annual fundraiser to become 'Home Builders', multi-year donors who enable the organization to grow in planned, strategic ways over time.
