Dine Out Program is Huge Success
RALEIGH, N.C., Dec. 2, 2011 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ -- Raleigh Regional Association of REALTORS® (RRAR) (www.rrar.com) announced that the Association's philanthropic arm, the REALTOR® Foundation of the Triangle raised more than $2,300 in its October Dine Out Program. The program was organized to benefit Project Angel Tree, a holiday gift donation initiative for children in need. Participating restaurants included: 18 Seaboard, Bocci's Italian Grill, Bombay Grille, Gypsy's Shiny Diner, Irregardless Cafe, Joel Lane's Public House, Tir Na Nog, Spring Rolls, Casa Carbone, and zpizza.

Marshall Gay, President of the REALTOR® Foundation of the Triangle said, "Thanks to the generous support of participating restaurants, Lisa Jeffries and the Community Services Committee for organizing the event, and our members' involvement, the Dine Out was a tremendous success. The money raised provides funds for the adoption of 800 angels as well as a sizeable donation to the Friends of Wake County Guardian ad Litem Program. The donation will help to provide gifts for additional children entering the program before Christmas."
RRAR Members and participating restaurants will be on hand Wednesday, December 7th, 10:00 a.m., at 111 Realtors Way, Cary, NC 27513 for Loading Day - the day that piles and piles of gifts are loaded onto trucks for delivery to the "Angels."

About Project Angel Tree:
Annual community outreach program organized by the REALTOR® Foundation of the Triangle that provides gifts to needy children via the Wake County Guardian ad Litem Program. REALTORS® "adopt" and purchase gifts for the "angels." 100 percent of donated funds from the restaurants will be used to purchase gifts for any Angels not yet adopted or to provide for additional Angels. The gifts will be distributed in December.
