RealNex Acquires Real Estate Technology Start-Up Ten Eight; Enhancing Communication for RE Dealmakers through Online Portal and Innovative App
Ten Eight's Capabilities Complement Existing RealNex Companies: Property Line, REA and REI Wise
HOUSTON, Sept. 2, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- RealNex, the innovative real estate technology solutions company formed by Pavonis Group, has announced the latest addition to its growing family of companies. Ten Eight, the deal automation and deal management solution for brokers and landlords that streamlines and manages reporting and the lease transaction process, was acquired by RealNex, joining REA, REI Wise and Property Line to further boost its suite of product offerings.
Ten Eight is both an online portal and an app that is set to revolutionize deals and communications between brokers, landlords and tenants. The online portal allows all parties involved in a leasing transaction to efficiently and instantaneously share communications, eliminating paper correspondence and the need for copious emails. The platform stores information to be accessed online anywhere at any time, driving process efficiencies for corporate occupiers, tenant rep brokers, leasing agents and landlords alike.
"Bringing Ten Eight to RealNex allows us to further diversify our platform and better serve the commercial real estate community. It provides a state-of-the-art solution that will drive efficiency to the entire transaction process for tenants, brokers and landlords alike," said Jeff Finn, Partner with Pavonis Group, and CEO of RealNex.
Ten Eight also brings a selection of unique features to the RealNex collective. It provides comprehensive lease tracking solutions and an automated property index that enables landlords to track and share leases and view any activity in real time through organized floor plans by square footage. Ten Eight's innovative "tourbook" app allows brokers to share listings, images and leasing documents on or offsite that can easily be displayed on all mobile devices. It also automates a property index and offers an interactive map to best visualize the property and surrounding location.
"We at Ten Eight are thrilled to become part of RealNex and welcome the opportunity to participate in a suite of companies providing better solutions to the commercial real estate community. It's incredible what technology can do to make processes easier and more streamlined," said Patrick Braswell, CEO and Co-Founder with Ten Eight. "While we are a real estate tech startup, in existence for over two years, our team has over 10 years of brokerage experience. It's a significant step for us to be able to take our product to another level with Pavonis Group's insight and expertise."
REA, REI Wise and Property Line previously joined RealNex, a new software and data solutions company under the Pavonis Group umbrella, designed to connect and transform the global real estate market by aggregating and integrating a portfolio of services, including robust data and transaction management solutions, all through one common Software as a Service ("SaaS") business model.
