RealNetworks® Appoints Scott Uomoto as Senior Vice President
SEATTLE, June 8, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- Digital media software and services company RealNetworks, Inc. (Nasdaq: RNWK) today announced that company veteran Scott Uomoto has been promoted to the position of senior vice president.

Uomoto oversees the company's sales, marketing and operations for its RealPlayer, SuperPass and Helix lines of business, in addition to business management for its new Unifi personal media cloud-based service.
"Since joining the company more than nine years ago, Scott has earned increasing responsibilities managing business operations worldwide. He has made enormous contributions to Real's Core and Emerging Products divisions, and is a tireless leader who sets a great example in his dedication, productivity and enthusiasm," said Mike Lunsford, Real's interim CEO.
