Now, 13-year-old singing sensation and television reality show star Carly Rose Sonenclar will be the special guest at the 10th annual Kids Party for a Cure benefiting the cure-focused work of the Diabetes Research Institute (DRI) (DiabetesResearch.org).

The family-oriented event has become an Island institution and will be held at Dave & Buster's at the Mall at The Source, 1504 Old Country Road in Westbury, on Sunday, March 10. The party will feature the newest video games and other fun activities for kids of all ages along with exciting sweepstakes and a silent auction of sports memorabilia and other items bound to keep the adults interested too. The festivities will kick off at 1 p.m. and run until 4 p.m.
Last year's event set records for attendance with the help of "Wizards of Waverly Place" television star Jake T. Austin. This year the excitement generated by celebrity guests continues with Carly Rose Sonenclar's presence on the heels of her awe-inspiring national television performances.

Kids Party for a Cure will keep children and parents alike smiling from ear-to-ear, with fun activities such as video and arcade games, inflatables, bowling, pool tables and more, plus an array of food and beverages to please all palates. Guests will also be able to purchase sweepstakes tickets and bid on exciting items at the silent auction. Goody bags will be provided to kids on their way out the door.
