DALLAS, Oct. 15, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Nearly 1,100 canine sports competitors from nine different countries are headed to Murfreesboro, TN for the 28th annual Grand Prix of Dog Agility® World Championships and $10,000 Dog Agility Steeplechase®, Oct. 21 – 25 at the Tennessee Miller Coliseum in Murfreesboro, TN.
The world's best canine athletes will be completing obstacle courses averaging 170 yards in 40 seconds or less while being navigated by their human partner.
There are also other exciting events to watch and participating in with your dog throughout the five-day event including "paws-on" activities like Splash Dogs, lure coursing, Rally Obedience, an "Agility 101" course and a pet lovers shopping paradise.
Competitors will be battling for the sport's most coveted prizes, the Grand Prix of Dog Agility® World Champion title and to compete for more than $10,000 in prize money in the Dog Agility Steeplechase®.
The Tennessee Miller Coliseum is located at 304B West Thompson Lane, Murfreesboro, TN, 37129.
Daily activities run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. – Oct. 21 through 25, with evening events scheduled Friday and Saturday beginning at 6:30 p.m. Admission is $10 per carload.
