Real Estate Mogul Elie Hirschfeld Competes in East River Swim and Mighty Hamptons Triathlon

NEW YORK, Sept. 9 /PRNewswire/ -- New York real estate tycoon, Elie Hirschfeld, President of Hirschfeld Properties, LLC, continues to fiercely conquer the New York sports scene by participating in two strenuous athletic events back to back all in the name of charity.  Hirschfeld will first participate in the East River swim under the Brooklyn Bridge in support of the non-profit Swim Free on September 11 only to head out to Long Island for the Mighty Hamptons Triathlon on September 12 with proceeds going to Brown University.

At the age of 35, Hirschfeld transformed from a casual jogger, occasional biker and "a terrible swimmer" to an impassioned extreme athlete, who over the past 27 years has garnered acclaim having completed over 75 triathlons and 10 marathons across the world.  As another outlet for his sports enthusiasm, Hirschfeld launched www.hirschfeldsport.com, a website intended to foster athletic development that currently features triathlon training advice ranging from nutrition to endurance building.
