Ready Roast Nut Company Selects Cenergy Power to Complete the Installation of 472 Kilowatts of Solar Power on the Roof of Their New Facility in Madera, CA

MADERA, Calif., Dec. 12, 2011  /PRNewswire/ -- Ready Roast Nut Company, an industrial supplier and custom processor of whole and manufactured tree nuts and Cenergy Power, a solar developer with market-leading solar solutions, have completed the construction on a 472 kilowatt (kW) solar photovoltaic (PV) system at Ready Roast Nut Company's facility in Madera.

Cenergy Power was selected to design and construct the solar system due to its proven reputation and engineering expertise. The solar system spans across approximately 70,000 square feet of roof space and is optimally designed to (i) generate over 670,000 kilowatt hours of clean power a year, (ii) offset over 90% of the facility's cold storage electric utility usage, and (iii) save over $5 million of utility charges for 25 years.

As part of the solar arrangement, Cenergy Power will be providing 10 years of scheduled operations and maintenance ("O&M") work, including but not limited to touch-free panel cleanings, preventative maintenance & repair, and overall system warranties.
