FAIRFAX, Va., July 19, 2017 /PRNewswire/ -- The government fiscal year (GFY) fourth quarter (Q4) is known as pivotal time for federal spending. To prepare contractors for the upcoming "spending spree", Washington Technology and Deltek will co-host "Federal IT Contracting Insights: Q4 Spending Spree Success (and Beyond!)" on July 20 at the Ritz-Carlton in Tysons Corner, Virginia.
Salient CRGT's Sean Delaney, VP, Corporate Capture and Proposal Operations, will serve as a panelist at the event along with other government and industry experts to explore best practices for business development, capture management, and what it takes to make the most of the GFY Q4. Delaney will speak at the "Business Development Panel: Best Practices for BD & Capture Management in the Q4" from 10:20 a.m. to 11:15 a.m.
"We continue to see the market evolving rapidly and the GFY Q4 is no exception. Customers are changing how and what they buy and it is never too late to put your company in a position to succeed," said Nick Wakeman, editor-in-chief of Washington Technology.
The panels and keynote speakers will look at policy directives and trends in contracting to better serve customer needs. Additionally, senior government officials will be present to discuss how the GFY Q4 spending is changing for their agencies and share insights about their individual contract vehicles, including spending patterns, and what's being acquired.
"This quarter can be a launch pad toward continued success for companies that effectively identify and provide solutions to customers' challenges," says Sean Delaney. "If you are cognizant of how government agencies spend their money, you can structure win-win solutions and strategies that prime your company to win key contracts this quarter and beyond."
Delaney leads Salient CRGT's strategy and the execution of significant capture and proposal efforts for complex and must win opportunities. With more than 25 years of experience as an executive capture expert, Delaney has seen how much government spending has evolved in just the past few years and recognizes that understanding buying trends and customer expectations is critical to achieving success.
