RDM Corporation to Share Remote Deposit Capture Technology Expertise at RDC Summit
WATERLOO, Ontario, Sept. 24, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Executives from RDM Corporation (TSX:RC) and its customers, will provide expertise on Remote Deposit Capture (RDC) and mobile RDC technologies at The Remote Deposit Capture Summit 2014, being held September 30 – October 2 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
President and CEO of RDM Corporation, Randy Fowlie, will be a panelist at the general session on Wednesday, October 1 entitled, "Tech Titans: The Evolving Technology Landscape in the Expanding RDC Industry." The panel will explore evolving technology, service, risk management and innovation within the RDC industry.
In a separate session earlier that day, RDM will participate with representatives from Capital Bank (a subsidiary of Capital Bancorp, Inc., headquartered in Rockville, MD.) and UMB Bank, headquartered in Kansas City. The session is entitled: "Mobile Remote Deposit Capture – Providing Corporate and Consumer Customers More Options." It will center on: how financial institutions can increase the use of mobile RDC among business customers, using mobile RDC to strengthen customer relationships and expand market share, as well as tips for successfully onboarding new business clients.
"Most, if not all financial institutions have adopted a remote deposit capture solution with the implementation of Check21. However, we find that many of the financial institutions we speak with today, find their existing offering is not meeting evolving market needs," said Randy Fowlie. "We are proud to be at the forefront of RDC and partner with customers like Capital Bank and UMB to expand their RDC solution."
