FORT WORTH, Texas, Sept. 3, 2015 /PRNewswire/ -- Ride Television Network, Inc., (RIDE TV) is pleased to announce that American Quarter Horse racing-enthusiast, R.D. Hubbard, has shown his support for RIDE TV by joining its ranks of passionate investors and shareholders.
"We are extremely pleased to have Mr. Hubbard as our partner in RIDE TV," said Michael Fletcher, chief executive officer for RIDE TV. "Mr. Hubbard is a great philanthropist who loves horses, and we couldn't be more honored to have him as an investor and shareholder in RIDE TV."
"Mr. Hubbard is the owner of the famous Ruidoso Downs racetrack," said Craig Morris, RIDE TV President. "He saw an opportunity with RIDE TV to combine his passion of racing quarter horses with a great initiative for the horse world. We are very proud to have him as a partner in the channel."
In the summer of 2016, RIDE TV and Ruidoso Downs will present each of the All American Triple Crown futurities on RIDE TV. They are the Grade 1, $1 million Ruidoso Futurity in June, the Grade 1, $1 million Rainbow Futurity in July and the Grade 1, $3 million All American Futurity on Labor Day. If any horse wins all of the futurities, then the horse's connections earn the $4 million All American Triple Crown Bonus. In addition to the Triple Crown futurities for two year old quarter horses, RIDE TV will also feature each of the Grade 1, Ruidoso Derby, Rainbow Derby and All American Derby for three year old quarter horses.
"Ruidoso Downs and RIDE TV is a winning combination," Hubbard said. "We offer the highest quality quarter horse racing and we are proud to offer our racing to RIDE TV's audience."
Ruidoso Downs is hosting the All American Futurity and affiliated events throughout Labor Day weekend of September 2015, and RIDE TV is covering all of the action for equine enthusiasts. The All American Futurity race pays out a larger purse than the Kentucky Derby.
RIDE TV is extremely proud to bring coverage of each All American Triple Crown Futurity and Derby to DISH Network. The company is eager to provide the best American Quarter Horse racing coverage from Ruidoso Downs in the homes of DISH Network owners everywhere.
RIDE TV's original programming includes highly entertaining reality shows, talk shows, documentaries, horse competitions, children's programming, movies and other relevant equine programming. Other notable programs include This Old Horse, a documentary showcasing the most famous horses in history, Stable Fables, an entertaining children's program that teaches children life lessons, and extensive coverage of Western and English equine competitions. RIDE TV appeals to both passionate horse owners and general audiences who love unique and fascinating entertainment.
